RA Dr. Hartung zum Schiedsrichter und Mediator beim International Court of Arbitration for Art in The Hague ernannt

I am very happy and honored that the International Court of Arbitration for Art in The Hague, Netherlands has included me in their pool of Arbitrators and Mediators, both as an acknowledged Art Law and Dispute Resolution Expert.

This listing acknowledges my long expertise in these fields for more than 20 years. In the link you can see my profile at the Court of Arbitration for Art as Arbitrator. I also act as a Mediator for CAfA; in 2011 I was already admitted as Mediator of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and of the WIPO.

I am looking forward to a long and fruitful cooperation with CAfA.

CAfA is the Court of Arbitration for Art. A joint initiative of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute and Authentication in Art led to the founding of CAfA. CAfA is founded to resolve disputes in the wider art community through mediation and arbitration. As such, it offers parties to administrate their arbitration and mediation proceedings with the assistance of the Secretariat of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute.

CAfA’s aims, as a non-profit organisation, are to promote arbitration and mediation and other lawful means to prevent, reduce and resolve disputes that arise in the wider art community, this also includes everything related to it or beneficial to it, everything in the broadest sense of the word.

Ich bin sehr glücklich und fühle mich geehrt, dass der Internationale Schiedsgerichtshof für Kunst in Den Haag mich als anerkannten Experten für Kunstrecht und Streitbeilegung in seinen Pool von Schiedsrichtern und Mediatoren aufgenommen hat.

CAfA ist der internationale Schiedsgerichtshof für Kunst. Die Gründung des CAfA geht auf eine gemeinsame Initiative des Niederländischen Instituts für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit und von Authentication in Art zurück. CAfA wurde gegründet, um Streitigkeiten in der breiteren Kunstgemeinschaft durch Mediation und Schlichtung beizulegen.

Als gemeinnützige Organisation verfolgt CAfA das Ziel, Schlichtung und Mediation sowie andere rechtmäßige Mittel zur Verhinderung, Verringerung und Beilegung von Streitigkeiten zu fördern, die in der breiteren Kunstgemeinschaft entstehen, d.h. auch alles, was damit zusammenhängt oder ihr nützt, alles im weitesten Sinne des Wortes.
